Samsung's Galaxy S21 Ultra, available for purchase now alongside the remainder of the Galaxy S21 lineup, is that the pinnacle of what the corporate offers during a phone, with its powerful processor, huge, vibrant screen and 5G connectivity. But the camera setup I'm particularly curious about, and that is where the S21 Ultra pushes the boat out. There are four lenses at the back: standard zoom, ultra-fast lens, 3x optical zoom and 10x optical zoom. Besides the huge 108MP resolution of the most camera, the phone are able to do a huge 30x zoom. (Here are all the new Galaxy S21 Ultra camera features and the way to use them.)
TL; DR: It's this zoom is that the hero here. While results at 30x are still somewhat weak, the phone's ability to require photos at 10x optical zoom means it can capture images simply impossible on a competing flagship just like the iPhone 12 Pro or OnePlus 8T.
When zooming bent ultra-wide view, there's little noticeable change in color, beyond a small hint of purple within the upper right corner. it is a balanced shot and there is tons of detail throughout.
When zoomed in at 3x, the tower looks sharp and lively.
Zooming at 10x the image remains perfectly detailed, with great contrast and no color shift.
