Universal Control was launched in March as part of macOS Monterey 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4, and it has been marked as a beta since then as Apple works to iron out problems and resolve minor concerns.
The beta marking next to the Universal Control choices in System Preferences > Displays > Universal Control has been removed. Similarly, under System Preferences > AirPlay > Handoff > Cursor and Keyboard on the iPad, there is no longer a beta indication.

Universal Control is a feature in macOS Monterey 12.3 and later that allows you to utilize a single mouse/trackpad and keyboard across numerous Macs and iPads. It works automatically with macOS Monterey 12.3 and later and iPadOS 15.4 and later.
Despite the fact that Universal Control was only available in beta, it proved to be a hit with customers, and Apple was able to remove the beta designation just a few months after the feature released.
