How to receive all the facts about Amazon's Echo and Ring launch event live

Starting Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. PT, noon ET, the e-commerce behemoth will host an invite-only press event.

In the world of electronic products, the previous several months have been hectic. Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 folding phones, Apple unveiled its iPhone 13 and new iPad Mini, and Microsoft unveiled its second-generation Surface Duo phone and Surface Studio laptop. On Tuesday, Amazon will conduct its annual product event, during which we may expect improvements to popular products like the Echo Dot, which typically costs $50 but is frequently discounted to as low as $19. Ring, Amazon's home security subsidiary, is another option.

However, Amazon is renowned for trying out wild ideas, such as integrating Alexa into a microwave or an analog clock. Amazon has even designed a mood ring that you can converse with. Also, don't forget about the Ring division's hovering security drone.

Amazon's event will begin at 9 a.m. PT, noon ET, 5 p.m. BST, and 2 a.m. AEST on Tuesday, Sept. 28. (Please accept my apologies, Australia.)

Whereas the press will be invited solely to Amazon's event, we'll be covering everything here on CNET, with a live blog, as well as exclusive news articles, commentary, and reviews.
